Azerbaijan-Israel energy cooperation was discussed

A meeting was held between Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov and a delegation led by Minister of Regional Cooperation of Israel David Amsalem.

The sides expressed satisfaction with cooperation in the energy sector, including in the hydrocarbon sector in the relations between the two countries. In this regard, long-term cooperation in oil supply, petrochemical products trade and downstream projects was noted and prospects were considered.

At the same time, Azerbaijan's projects aimed at increasing the share of renewable energy in the country's energy balance, as well as the supply of this type of energy through the creation of interregional green energy corridors were discussed. Opportunities for the development of relations in green energy, as well as in other promising areas were assessed, and the importance of involving the public-private sector in this process was mentioned.
