Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev attended the next meeting of the heads of the ministries of energy and water of Central Asian countries in Kyrgyzstan.

In his speech, the Deputy Minister said that Azerbaijan is connected by centuries-old historical and cultural ties with the countries of Central Asia, and that the political will of the Heads of State and mutual visits play an important role in achieving a high level of strategic partnership. It was noted that the development of political relations creates conditions for economic development. The current level and future cooperation opportunities between the countries of Central Asia in the field of energy were discussed. The contributions of Azerbaijan's energy policy to regional and international cooperation was emphasized, and the importance of multilateral cooperation in ensuring energy security and supporting sustainable development was emphasized.

During the event, the Energy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Ibrayev and the President of the country Mr. Sadyr Japarov exchanged views on the implementation of the documents signed in the field of energy within the state visit to Azerbaijan. At the same time, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almasadam Satkaliev discussed the work done and the next steps to be taken to create the Azerbaijan-Central Asia-Europe green energy corridor.
