Under the chairmanship of Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, the sixth meeting of the Working Group on Coordination and Monitoring regarding the application of green technologies and energy efficiency requirements in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

The chairman of the Working Group, Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, drew attention to the work done on the implementation of green energy solutions in the liberated territories with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, along with other advanced technologies, the need to create a favorable infrastructure for electric vehicles in these territories. The global importance of the measures taken to create green energy zones in our country in the context of the organization of the COP29 international conference in Azerbaijan this year was emphasized again.

Then, in accordance with the agenda of the meeting, discussions were held on the work done in the direction of the implementation of the tasks set on the creation of a green energy zone in the liberated territories. At the 5th Meeting of the Working Group, the report of the Working Group Secretariat on the implementation of the decisions made was heard. A report on the results of monitoring on the application of green technologies and energy efficiency in the liberated territories was presented.

In addition, information was provided on the work done on the reflection of the relevant components applied in the green energy zone in the resource base, the measures implemented in the field of housing construction and construction of residential buildings in the liberated territories, and the work performed and planned to be performed on other current issues arising from the agenda was discussed.

The representatives from the special representations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Restoration Construction and Management Service public legal entities in the liberated territories, as well as Azerigas PU, Azeristiliktechizat OJSC, State Housing Construction Agency and Social Development Fund of IDPs attended at the meeting.
