A meeting with Deputy to the Director General of UNIDO was held at the Ministry of Energy

A meeting was held at the Ministry of Energy with a delegation led by Deputy to the Director General of the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Fatou Haidara, who is on a visit to our country to participate in the Global Baku Forum XI held in Baku.

At the meeting attended by Deputy Minister of Energy Elnur Soltanov, information was provided about the preparation for the COP29 international conference, the development of renewable energy use, increasing energy efficiency, the work carried out on establishing green energy zones, views were exchanged on the energy transition, as well as the production and export of green hydrogen, opportunities for cooperation with UNIDO in this area. The project proposed by the Organization to expand technological readiness and institutional capacity for the application of green hydrogen in the industry in Azerbaijan was considered.
