Meetings with IFC and TAQA were held at the Ministry of Energy

Within the 10th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council, Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov received a delegation led by Cheryl Edleson Hanway, International Finance Corporation (IFC) Regional Director for Infrastructure and Natural Resources in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. At the meeting, the existing cooperation in the field of energy, including the use of offshore wind energy. The parties expressed confidence that cooperation would be successfully continued in the future.

At the meeting with the delegation led by Omar Al Hashimi, TAQA Executive Director for Transmission and Distribution Networks, the prospects for cooperation in the field of modernization of the power grid and long-distance energy transmission were reviewed.
