The Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov held a press conference of at the Executive Secretariat of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party. The Minister spoke about the exceptional merits of the “Contract of the Century” in the socio-political life of Azerbaijan, the current state of the oil and gas, power engineering sector of Azerbaijan and the development perspectives in the coming years, the status of the work carried out on behalf of the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On acceleration of reforms in the energy sector" , and answered journalists' questions about the current status in the oil market, the construction of hydropower plants "Khudaferin" and "Maiden Tower" and other issues.
