Geothermal energy

According to the report of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), in 2022 the installed capacity of geothermal energy in the world was only 14621 MW. 66 percent of the installed capacity of geothermal energy accounts for 5 countries:

USA – 2 653 MW

Indonesia – 2 360 MW

Philippines – 1 932 MW

Türkiye – 1 691 MW

New Zealand – 1 043 MW

A Working Group on expanding opportunities for the use of geothermal energy has been established in connection with the effective organization of measures aimed at the development of the geothermal energy sector in our country and ensuring positive dynamics in this area.
