Hasanov Sadig

He was born on 21 July 1963 in Karimbayli village of Sharur, Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic
In 1970- 1980 he graduated from Karimbayli village secondary school. 
In 1988 he graduated from the Department of oil mechanics (evening) of the Azerbaijan State Oil and Chemical Institute.
He worked as a worker, master, chief master, deputy chief of workshop and foreman of production department at the Offshore Support Services Department under the SOCAR.  Later, he worked as an engineer, senior engineer and deputy head of department in deep water jacket No. 9 at "28 May” oil and gas extraction department located on "Chilov” island of "Azneft” PU of SOCAR.
In 2006, together with a group of scientists, he founded the "Towards Healthy Life” Public Union to improve the environment in Azerbaijan and was elected its chairman. At the same time, he started working as a scientist at the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS. 
At the Institute of Radiation Problems of ANAS, he defended the thesis of the doctor of philosophy in Chemical Sciences on the specialty of nuclear chemistry on the topic of "Assessment of waste by car transport and its reduction by means of A12O3 catalyst with nano content modified by radiation”.  He is a doctor of philosophy in Chemical Sciences. 
Dr. S. Hasanov's 11 scientific articles have been published in “Web of Sciences” magazine. At the same time, his 9 scientific articles have been published in local scientific journals in Russia. He has a patent.
He has implemented several projects on the impact of oil and oil waste on the environment and the human body within the public union.
The public union has made a report at many scientific and public conferences on the effective use of oil and gas in Azerbaijan as a country engaged in oil and gas production, the impact of the oil factor on the development of the economy and reducing the impact on the environment during this production and presented proposals in this direction to the relevant structural units.
During his tenure as a member of the Public Council (2015-2019), the chairman of the Public Union took part as an expert in the projects implemented by the ministry.
He is a co-author of analytical papers and projects on the pollution of the Caspian Sea with oil and petroleum products and its reduction.   
The organization owns www.ecolifeinfo.az website published in 3 languages. 
The chairman of organization took part in scientific and ecological international conferences in the USA (twice), Brussels in Belgium, Beijing in China, Seoul, the capital of Korea, Ankara, Hamburg, Germany and many other countries. He represented the organization as the head and a scientist at international conferences held in Tbilisi, Minsk, Kiev and Moscow.
"Towards Healthy Life" Public Union is a member of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), Global National Disaster Risks (GNDR), CENN organization. The organization is a member of the ITEI NGO Coalition and the Public Commission established under the executive director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Republic.
He is fluent in English and Russian.
