Issues on the agenda of the energy partnership with the United Kingdom was discussed

Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Azerbaijan Fergus Auld on the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The Minister thanked Ambassador Fergus Auld for his contribution to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Great Britain, including energy cooperation during his diplomatic activity in our country.

Discussions at the meeting focused on the implementation of jointly undertaken oil and gas and green energy projects, as well as cooperation with UK companies on green energy corridor initiatives. Satisfaction was expressed with the long-term energy partnership between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on matters arising from the upcoming session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to be held in Baku.

During the conversation, the British side was invited to participate with a broad delegation in the events to be held within the framework of Baku Energy Week.
