The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan announces an internal interview on vacant civil service positions in accordance with the 5th catagory of administrative positions.

Candidates can submit documents on vacant positions of Chief Advisor of the Work with International Organizations Section of International Cooperation Department , Senior Adviser of the Finance Department and Head of the Department of the Project Implementation and Monitoring Department of Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency.

Civil servants serving at administrative positions in the Ministry of Energy, having a degree of qualification in accordance with the classification of administrative positions, and liquidation of the state body (the subordinate bodies of the Ministry of Energy are intended), persons included in the reserve staff list in connection with the number or reduction of civil servants and kept in the reserve staff list of the Ministry of Energy can apply for the vacancies.

Candidates wishing to participate in the internal interview must register by filling out the “Application form for civil service” on the internet portal of the State Examination Center from 3 September 2021 till 18:00 in 22 September 2021.

Admission of documents on internal interview is carried out online. To participate in the internal interview, the scanned version of the following documents must be attached to the application form during online registration:

· copy of the document on higher education

· copy of employment record book

· a copy of the document confirming the degree of qualification (if not recorded in the  employment record book)

It should be noted that the civil servants who served in the lower administrative positions at most two classifications, as well as reserve staffs who served in the lower administrative positions at most  two classifications.

According to the second part of Article 29.5 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "on Civil Service", civil servants, whom the disciplinary action was applied to, shall not be allowed to the interview within 6 months.

Until the date (until August 10, 2016), when the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 267-VQD dated May 31, 2016 "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Civil Service" was put into force, civil servants admitted to administrative positions in the civil service and having less than 10 years of service in administrative positions must have the relevant certificate when applying for a higher administrative position.

A copy of employment record book must be notarized or certified by the organization in which the person is currently employed, and a copy of the document confirming the degree of qualification (if it is available) by the state body.

Documents on Higher Education issued by educational institutions of foreign states in the period after 1993 should be approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with "Rules of recognition of specialties of foreign states in the field of the higher education and determination of their equivalence (nostrification)".

In the case that the candidate does not meet the specified conditions, as well as knowingly misinformation is found in the information and documents provided by him/her, the results obtained by the candidate in the interview are considered invalid.
