Extracts from Legislative Acts

According to the following articles of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan foresees fines and penalties for relevant violations.

Article 279.0.1. Violation of technical operation rules in gas, electrical or heating installations (electrical transmission lines and pipelines), equipment, gas and energy saving systems, as well as failure to fulfill the requirements established for improving or maintaining their technical level;

Article 279.0.4. In accordance with Article 13 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Efficient Use of Energy Resources and Energy Efficiency”, taking into account the results of the assessment of energy efficiency potential, failure to fulfill obligations on the efficient use of energy resources established for energy producers;

Article 282.2. For violation of the rules for the use of natural gas, electricity or thermal energy - individuals are fined from thirty to forty manats, officials from seventy to ninety manats, legal entities from two hundred and fifty to three hundred manats.
