According to operational data for 2025, 27.7 million tons of oil (along with gas condensate) were produced in the Republic. 16.2 million tons of production accounted for Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 3.8 million tons for Shah Deniz, 0.6 million tons for Absheron field, and 7.1 million tons for SOCAR.

During the reporting period, the volume of exported oil, including gas condensate, amounted to 23.1 million tons. Among these, consortium accounts for 20 million tons, SOCAR for 2.5 million tons, JOCAP for 0.6 million tons.

It should be noted that during 2025, the daily oil production was 62.4 thousand tons (460 thousand barrels). Among these, 13.5 thousand tons (111 thousand barrel) were condensate. In total, average daily oil production was 75.9 thousand tons (571 thousand barrels).

Oil refining last year amounted to 6.2 million tons.

In 2025, the country produced 51.5 bcm of natural gas. 14.1 bcm of gas production extracted from ACG, while 27.9 bcm from Shah Deniz. Absheron and SOCAR produced 1.6 bcm and 7.9 bcm gas, respectively.

During the reporting period, gas sales amounted to 25.2 bcm. Of these, 12.8 bcm were exported to Europe, 9.6 bcm to Türkiye (including 5.6 bcm with TANAP), 2.3 bcm to Georgia and 0.5 bcm to Syria.

Since its commissioning till 1 January 2026, 670.3 million tons oil (including gas condensate) and 508.6 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shah Deniz. 617.8 million tons of oil, 243.9 bcm of gas were extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, and about 52.5 million tons of condensate and 264.7 bcm of gas from Shah Deniz. During this period, 668.3 million tons of oil and 191.2 billion cubic meters of gas were exported.
