In order to ensure the implementation of Article 5.2 of the National Action Plan for 2022─2026 on strengthening the fight against corruption approved by Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 3199 dated 4 April 2022 and Article 6.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Public Participation, the Election Committee was established to organize the elections to the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the ordinance of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 3-15/3-2-539/2023 dated 18 September 2023 in accordance with relevant items of the Regulation for the election of public board by the civil society institutions approved pursuant to Order No 171 dated 30 May 2014 by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
