President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov.

The Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev to President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Issues of further expanding and deepening Uzbek-Azerbaijani relations of strategic partnership and alliance, have been discussed.

The active contacts on all levels, sustainable growth of trade turnover, as well as successful cooperation, including in the sphere of energy, have been noted with satisfaction.

The importance has been emphasized of promoting joint projects in oil and gas sphere, geological exploration, developing green energy and chemical industry.
